A new Genshin Impact leak gives a lot of information about three very popular characters, Cloud Retainer, Charlotte, and Arlecchino.

A new set of leaks has revealed more interesting details about Cloud Retainer, Arlecchino, and Charlotte. Cloud Retainer was the first out of the three to make an appearance in the game, and she’s introduced as an Adepti which are powerful illuminated beasts and gods that serve the Prime of Adepti known as the Liyue Archon Morax. During Liyue’s quest line, this character only appeared in the form of a white crane, and she’s confirmed to have a human form. According to the new leak, Cloud Retainer’s Elemental Skill will transform her back into a bird which means that she will be introduced in her human form. There is not a lot of info about her Elemental Burst other than that it deals AoE damage. The leak has also mentioned that this character’s kit could revolve around using Plunging Attack, similar to Xiao’s playstyle.
The leak claims that Arlecchino will be able to control HP, but the post didn’t give any specific details. This could be related to one of the previous Genshin Impact leaks that described Arlecchino’s kit as “Puppeteering.” While players are still waiting for her to introduce herself to the game, others are debating about her potential to join the playable roster.
It’s safe to say that she’s the most anticipated Fontaine character at the moment alongside the Hydo Archon Furina whose release is expected in Genshin Impact update 4.2. The post has also revealed that Furina has great synergy with Baizhu which could improve this Dendro support’s place in the current meta.
Charlotte will apparently be a healer who has a similar playstyle to Baizhu, but she will be using the Cryo element. To find out more information about the next characters, players will probably have to wait for the 4.2 beta which will arrive around the same time Genshin Impact version 4.1 joins the live servers.
